DeerDoc® started with a problem every serious breeder runs into: parasites that won’t go away and treatments that do more harm than good.
Brian Ward, a seasoned entrepreneur and lifelong outdoorsman, had been managing deer for years. But traditional dewormers like Ivermectin raised more concerns than they solved—leaving deer stressed, inconsistent in performance, and sometimes worse off than before.
So Brian teamed up with his son, Brady Ward, a recent Auburn graduate with a degree in Wildlife and Fisheries. Together, they set out to create a safer, more effective way to protect deer—using the power of plants instead of synthetic chemicals.
To do it right, they brought in two experts: Dr. Dusty Davis, a respected veterinarian and certified embryologist, and Brian Dickerson, a specialist in flavonoid-based compounds. With their help, the team developed what would become DeerDoc®—a pellet-based supplement formulated with organic flavonoids proven to disrupt the parasite lifecycle while supporting gut health and immunity.
They didn’t stop at formulation. A 30-day field study was conducted at Lightsey Family Ranch in Venus, Florida, under Dr. Davis’ direction. The results were clear: parasite egg counts dropped to zero. No chemicals. No side effects. Just clean, measurable progress.
